Job Description:

The Sr. Manager of Retail Systems, Project Management oversees the planning, execution, and successful completion of complex projects, often managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on resource allocation, budget control, and meeting deadlines, while also mentoring and coaching within the team. Responsible for leading Program and Project Managers, both contract and full-time employees, along with Business analysts in maintaining and delivering functionality and technology solutions to stores across North America, supporting the organization’s portfolio of Retail Systems.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure that Retail Systems projects meet business requirements, objectives, and deliverables
Take the lead in ensuring effective processes to identify, monitor, and resolve issues and risks
Responsible for the delivery of medium to large scale business projects/programs
Define overall objectives and key deliverables for the program/project
Work effectively with business partners, vendors, technology, and project management office
Identify project resource requirements and align with plan sponsors
Analyze project performance and implement corrective actions
Lead the delivery of medium to large scope project initiatives
Act as a role model for PM professionalism and critical thinking
Manage internal and external resources
Manage the operational and capital budget for Retail Systems in the US

Requirements:

Experienced at building effective relationships and strong partnerships across the organization
Strong leadership and management capabilities
Knowledge of Jira, Workfront, Confluence, Excel, and other Project Management Software Tools
SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification preferred
Analytical skills to solve problems
Strong knowledge of Excel and highly skilled in PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio preferred
6+ years of work experience, including at least 4 years project management experience with at least 2 years managing Supply Chain projects
Demonstrated ability to design and execute plans
Knowledge of Retail stores systems (POS, Payments) preferred
Financial management experience
Excellent listening and interpersonal skills
Strong customer-service orientation
Keen attention to detail
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or 6+ years equivalent work experience

Nice to have:

SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) Certification
Knowledge of Retail stores systems (POS, Payments)
Strong knowledge of Excel and highly skilled in PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
