Job Description:

Experienced customer-facing analyst responsible for interpreting and analyzing health plan performance, creating reports, delivering recommendations, and collaborating with customers and consultants to improve plan performance. Role involves communication of complex business strategies and results to diverse audiences and requires a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry.

Job Responsibility:

Interpret, analyze, and provide strategies related to overall plan results for a customer
Create reports or presentations and articulate results to customers, consultants, and internal teams
Conduct weekly and monthly analytic reviews with cross-functional teams
Deliver multi-dimensional recommendations for improved plan performance
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and external insights
Build credible relationships at varying levels within the organization and externally.

Requirements:

Minimum of 7-10 years of industry experience interpreting and analyzing customer experience
Strong communication skills including verbal and written abilities
Ability to articulate complex business results and strategies
Knowledge of claim coding (CPT/DRG), provider networks, benefit designs, healthcare products and funding, and medical management programs
Financial acumen
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word
Experience with analytic/reporting applications such as SAS, SQL, and Python
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Masters degree preferred
Licensure or certification by discipline preferred
Critical thinking, time management, organizational, negotiation/influencing, relationship and change management, and analytical and planning skills.
