Job Description:

This role involves leading a team of frontend developers to translate UX designs into responsive code for cloud-based, desktop, and mobile applications. Responsibilities include setting development policies, ensuring compliance, collaborating with designers and stakeholders, overseeing UI design implementation, and delivering results efficiently. The role requires strong management and technical expertise, with a focus on customer-facing cloud-based applications and medical device experience preferred.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and provide technical oversight of a team of Frontend developers implementing compelling & responsive user-interfaces for our cloud-based, desktop and mobile applications
Devise and establish development policies and systems to support efficient team execution
Develop and maintain appropriate procedures to ensure worldwide regulatory compliance
Guide team in collaboration with designers and stakeholders on requirements and design
Oversee the UI design and code consistent with up-to-date design patterns meeting today’s security and regulatory standards
Deliver high quality and timely results to meet the business needs
Oversee development activities and evaluate them according to established goals.

Requirements:

BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent with 8+ years of experience
Management experience within a UI team required
Experience managing customer facing, cloud-based software projects including defining, planning, and executing to predictable schedules and required quality
Expertise in web UI technologies
JavaScript (React.js, Node.js), Gatsby JS, HTML, CSS, TypeScript preferred
Working skills in jQuery as well as QT or similar technologies
Experience with translating visual and interactive designs from tools such as Sketch and Zeplin, Axure or other design frameworks into a customer focused frontend implementation
Ability to collaborate with designers and product stakeholders in iterative development
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, ability to inspire
Strong understanding of various SDLCs, their benefits and pitfalls
Medical device or other regulated application space experience is preferred.
