Job Description:

This role involves a variety of tasks including the design, installation, and configuration of network devices, troubleshooting network problems, and maintaining network infrastructure in a 24/7 operations environment.

Job Responsibility:

Design and install network switches, routers, wireless access points, and related equipment on the campus
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues reported by end users
Manage the allocation and assignment of IP address space across the campus
Carry out backup and recovery procedures for the campus network infrastructure configuration data
Regularly perform administrative tasks to support the campus network infrastructure
Keep network equipment up-to-date by installing software and firmware updates along with security patches
Generate comprehensive written documentation including network designs, processes, procedures, configurations, and diagrams
Automate network tasks using network management tools, automation tools, and scripting
Liaise with hardware and software vendors to address and resolve campus network related issues.

Requirements:

Proficient in managing and maintaining Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies
Familiarity with Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies
Capability to handle Firewall Technologies effectively
Skilled in managing Active Directory operations
Experience with Backup Technologies for data safety and recovery
Understanding of Computer Hardware components and systems
Competence in Configuration Management for system stability
Proven experience in successful Deployments of network systems
Background in the Education industry is highly desirable
Must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently is required.
