We are in search of a Senior Payroll Analyst to join our team based in Southborough, Massachusetts, operating within the Non-Profit sector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. You'll also be expected to engage with employees on payroll-related inquiries and assist in the continuous enhancement of our payroll processes.
Job Responsibility:
Efficiently processing payroll, ensuring all employees are notified of the timecard deadline each pay period
Preparing a reconciliation of approved hours to Workforce Now
Posting edits, payroll adjustments, and corrections as necessary
Inputting bonuses, retro pay, and shift differential pay into ADP
Assisting with the review of the pre-process register to ensure accuracy of payroll data
Handling the receipt and opening of the payroll package
Mailing payroll checks as required
Responding to employee inquiries and questions regarding pay
Running reports from ADP report writer
Recommending process improvements to enhance the payroll process
Actively participating in supervision and staff meetings
Performing all duties in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Coordinator or in a similar role within the Non-Profit sector
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and ADP Financial Services
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian
Familiarity with Crystal Reports and About Time
Knowledge of 401k and RRSP Administration
Understanding of Accounting Functions and Auditing
Experience with Benefit Functions and Benefits Payroll
Proven track record with Domestic Payroll and Full Cycle Payroll
Experience managing Payroll for 101 - 500 Employees and Payroll for Over 500 Employees
Knowledge of Payroll Garnishments and Payroll Taxes
Experience with processing Bi-weekly and Biweekly Payroll
Ability to Reconcile Payroll and handle Year-end Payroll
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to the highest degree of professional standards
Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to salaries, wages, taxes, benefits, and other payroll-related matters
