Job Description:

This role is critical in ensuring accurate and compliant payroll processing for their large, multi-state, non-union workforce.

Job Responsibility:

Manage end-to-end payroll processing for a large organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Handle payroll for employees across multiple states, including managing varying tax laws and regulations
Accurately process wage garnishments, child support, and other deductions
Ensure payroll tax filings are accurate and completed on time, including reconciliation of payroll taxes and year-end reporting
Utilize ADP payroll software efficiently for processing, reporting, and record-keeping
Respond to and resolve payroll-related inquiries from employees and management
Work closely with HR, Accounting, and other departments to support payroll and related functions

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience, preferably in a large, multi-state organization
Strong experience with ADP payroll systems is required
Familiarity with payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team while demonstrating a proactive and driven work ethic
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
