Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to join a dynamic team and play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Job Responsibility:

Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll processing for a large employee base (including multi-state or international payroll, if applicable)
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing payroll
Generate payroll reports for management and audit purposes while identifying and resolving discrepancies
Manage payroll tax filings, deductions, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Work with HRIS and payroll/ERP systems (e.g., Workday, UKG, ADP, Ceridian) to troubleshoot issues and streamline workflows
Identify opportunities to optimize payroll processes and implement best practices
Assist employees in resolving payroll-related questions and concerns professionally
Work closely with HR, Accounting, and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations

Requirements:

Associate degree or higher with 2+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state processing
Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and related laws
Proven ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality and discretion
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
Technical proficiency in payroll systems and advanced familiarity with tools like Excel
