Job Description:

This role will be focused on property accounting within our team. The workplace is designed to foster collaboration and innovation.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
Overseeing the month-end closing process
Applying your expertise in property accounting to manage and oversee the financial aspects of our properties
Conducting audits to verify the accuracy of our financial information
Managing accruals to ensure financial statements are up-to-date and accurate
Utilizing Yardi software in the management and accounting of properties
Proactively taking action on open purchase orders to ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of property accounting
Demonstrated proficiency in property accounting principles and practices
Proficient in month-end close procedures and account reconciliation
Extensive experience using Yardi property management software
Previous experience in conducting audits in the property accounting field
Strong understanding and experience in handling accruals in accounting
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required
Strong oral and written communication skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus
