Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Real Estate industry in Brooklyn, New York. As a Senior Property Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of multiple properties, ensuring tenant satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with NYC building codes and regulations. Job Responsibility:

Oversee the management of multiple properties, ensuring they are maintained to a high standard
Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, and manage renovations as required
Create and implement property-specific policies and procedures to increase operational efficiency
Foster positive relationships with tenants by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns
Stay updated with NYC building codes and regulations, managing any violations for timely resolution and compliance
Oversee the leasing process for both commercial and residential units, including marketing properties, conducting showings, and screening prospective tenants
Ensure all lease documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date
Manage property budgets, monitor rent collection and expenses, and report on financial performance
Coordinate with construction crews for property renovations, improvements, and inspections
Review existing insurance coverages and coordinate renewals
Obtain all necessary occupancy and construction licenses for properties and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Delegate tasks and monitor staff deliverables and performance to ensure efficiency

Requirements:

Proven experience in Commercial Property Management
Proficiency in Property Management Accounting
Strong understanding of Residential Property Management
Expertise in Real Estate Property Management
Familiarity with Property Management Software
Prior experience working in a Property Management Company
Demonstrated skills in Tenant Retention
Knowledge of Property Insurance policies and procedures
Experience in conducting Property Inspections
Proficiency in Property Accounting practices
