The Role: As Quantity Surveyor, you will provide comprehensive quantity surveying support across a range of water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, and pump stations. You will assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers. You will monitor project costs, track variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities. You will prepare and manage payment schedules and claims. You will ensure compliance with all relevant contractual obligations and industry standards. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site managers to ensure effective cost control and project delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Provide comprehensive quantity surveying support across a range of water infrastructure projects, including water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pipelines, reservoirs, and pump stations
Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, tender documents, and contract negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers

Requirements:
A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (e.g., BSc in Quantity Surveying, HND in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent)
Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the water sector, ideally with exposure to a range of water infrastructure projects
A strong understanding of water industry regulations, best practices, and cost control methodologies specific to water treatment, wastewater treatment, and pipeline infrastructure
Excellent knowledge of relevant cost estimating software, measurement standards, and contract documentation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
