Job Description:

Our Partner, a leading automotive company in Hungary specializing in vehicle sales, distribution, and mobility services across Central and Eastern Europe, is looking for a Senior Retail Controller to join their finance team. This person will work closely with the Retail CFO to support financial activities, analyze business performance, and provide insights and recommendations.

Job Responsibility:

Support the financial activities of the company and its subsidiaries
Analyze business performance, market trends, and financial processes, providing recommendations
Conduct profitability calculations and cost analyses
Prepare managerial reports, financial summaries, and internal/external reports
Coordinate the preparation of annual business plans and forecasts
Monitor cost planning and financial performance
Enhance controlling systems, IT tools, and executive reports
Identify and implement financial process improvements
Collaborate with affiliate companies, central departments, and internal clients
Support the RBU CFO and provide guidance to interns or external teams
Participate in projects, ensuring appropriate management levels
Manage tasks related to external service providers

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
3+ years of experience in controlling or financial analysis
Experience in an international corporate or stock-listed environment is a plus
Power BI expertise is a strong advantage
Automotive or retail industry experience is preferred
Knowledge of IFRS is beneficial
Fluent in English and Hungarian
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail
Advanced Excel and financial tool proficiency
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Proactive, adaptable, and independent

Nice to have:

Experience in an international corporate or stock-listed environment
Power BI expertise
Automotive or retail industry experience
Knowledge of IFRS
