Job Description:

The Senior Software Development Engineer Microservices will be responsible for development and support of Retail Store related API's. The right candidate will play a key role in the analysis, design, build and post deployment support of all web-based solutions. In this role the Senior Software Development Engineer Microservices will work closely and collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT Development staff and other partners in the development and delivery of Loyalty & Retail Store business solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Development and support of Retail Store related API's
Analysis, design, build and post deployment support of all web-based solutions
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, IT Development staff and other partners in the development and delivery of Loyalty & Retail Store business solutions
Utilize knowledge in web-based solutions in Java
Deliver assignments throughout project lifecycles

Requirements:

5+ years of experience designing Enterprise web applications, Interface Design, Data Dictionary, Object orientation concept (Java / J2EE)
5+ years of experience in Java, J2EE Design Patterns, Object-Oriented design, Cloud Native development, and code Optimizations
5+ years of experience in building and consuming stateless Micro Services using Spring framework and deploying within Paas/Cloud platforms like Openshift, GKE, AKS
5+ years of experience in integration layer development: RESTful APIs/ Spring/Kafka/GQL

Nice to have:

5+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases including Oracle
3+ years of experience with NoSQL like Mongo, Cassandra
5+ years of Agile SDLC methodology, Continuous integration experience, code test coverage, security compliance and source control using Maven, Jenkins, GIT
