Job Description:

As a Senior Software Development Engineer at CVS Health, the candidate will work on the Broker Commissions applications, developing and maintaining software solutions while collaborating with teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills, SDLC experience, and technical collaboration along with Java expertise are crucial for this role.

Job Responsibility:

Design, code, test, debug, document, deploy, and support solutions
Develop and maintain existing and new applications
Provide production support activities
Collaborate with project managers, architects, development team members and analysts
Enhance existing systems, assist in functionality documentation, technical documentation, system testing, and quality assurance

Requirements:

5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
5+ years of experience developing and enhancing applications using technologies
Java, SoapUI, Entity Framework, HTML, CSS and Web API, DB2 and UDB
3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or DB2 database development experience, Writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views for ad-hoc, and recurring standard reports or file builds, troubleshooting, and tuning
3+ years of experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
3+ years of experience collaborating with other associates to design solutions that efficiently deliver the required enhancements on time and within budget

Nice to have:

Insurance Industry knowledge
SAP Hana knowledge
Experience in various testing methods, performance, load, stress etc
DevOps experience to insure the delivery of an application with the appropriate documentations and on-going support
Experience working with remote business and IT partners
Experience with Integration with various systems, platforms, and data migration
Experience on Microsoft AZURE Cloud
