Job Description:

Our Milwaukee area based client is seeking a Senior SQL DBA to join their collaborative team. The role focuses on database administration and support, ensuring performance, integrity, and security of SQL Server databases.

Job Responsibility:

Administer, maintain, and optimize SQL Server databases in a production environment
Ensure database performance, integrity, and security while managing backups and disaster recovery solutions
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, providing expert-level support
Work closely with internal teams to implement best practices for database maintenance and optimization
Assist in database migrations, upgrades, and performance tuning initiatives

Requirements:

Proven expertise in SQL Server database administration with a strong focus on support and maintenance
Experience with high-availability solutions, backups, recovery models, and performance tuning
Ability to collaborate within a team-oriented environment, communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with automation, monitoring, and scripting for database management is a plus
