Job Description:

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a vital part in financial operations by preparing and reviewing financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and overseeing journal entries, accruals, and month-end closings for multiple entities. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support key business decisions while working closely with auditors, tax professionals, and external advisors to maintain compliance and ensure accurate reporting.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Manage balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee journal entries, accruals, and month-end closings for multiple entities
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support key business decisions
Work closely with auditors, tax professionals, and external advisors to maintain compliance and ensure accurate reporting
Manage financial records for multiple entities, including individuals, trusts, and business partnerships
Maintain accuracy across various accounts and ledgers
Work with Morgan Stanley and external advisors to support financial planning
Oversee cash flow projections, reporting, and intercompany transfers

Requirements:

Accounting/Finance degree
Direct accounting experience
Proficiency in AgilLink, QuickBooks, Paychex, and Excel is a plus
