Job Description:

This role is primarily focused on maintaining general ledgers, managing real estate investments, financial statement audits, and tax compliance. You will also play a vital role in cash planning and management, annual budget preparation, and handling various financial projects.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain general ledgers for all office companies
Close books and produce financial reporting packages
Oversee and manage information related to real estate investments
Keep track of outstanding debt and other contingencies
Plan and manage cash
Conduct financial statement audits
Ensure preparation of timely and accurate project financial reporting
Carry out general ledger entries and reconciliations
Handle cash management and banking issues
Safeguard organization's value by maintaining confidentiality
Coordinate outsourced tax return preparation
Stay updated with tax changes and industry trends
Collaborate with multiple CPA firms

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of accounting
Proficiency in annual tax procedures and regulations
Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
CPA or other relevant certification is highly desirable
Demonstrated experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Excellent analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills

Nice to have:

CPA or other relevant certification
Experience with real estate investments
