Job Description:

The Software Engineer Manager will be responsible for building world class digital engagements for Citi. This person will be responsible for performing system designs, software architecture, handling technology deliveries and end-to-end development cycles; and leading, building and supporting the banking applications along with performing people management activities.

Job Responsibility:

Manage global technology teams and stakeholders
Evaluate risk and controls issues
Manage Citi’s technology infrastructure
Influence innovation efforts
Lead technical discussions and build technology roadmaps
Own the delivery of products
Build a culture of ownership
Develop and implement metrics monitoring
Establish global relationships
Collaborate with stakeholders
Reduce time to market and cost to deliver
Build and enforce financial governance
Build employee engagement
Define and drive talent strategy

Requirements:

10+ years’ experience in overall IT (Product development and Software Engineering)
5+ years’ experience managing large scale delivery of mobile, web, and cloud products
Experience shaping business strategy for technical products or services
Ability to grasp new technology concepts quickly
Experienced technical contributor in large, global, distributed organizations
Demonstrated ability to design, develop and implement complex solutions
Drive transformational changes in operations
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
MS preferred

Nice to have:

Experience in financial industry and products
Understanding of microservices architecture
Strong interaction with Business and tech teams
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
