Job Description:

To develop our clients’ business in line with business plans and budgets; To use industry knowledge and experience, and work with brokers, staff and insurers to deliver appropriate and competitive insurance terms, conditions and service levels; To provide compliant and timely administration and documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Achieving targets and delivering underwriting service standards as agreed by insurers and our client
Delivering appropriate management information as required
Contributing to team activity in line with business plans and budgets
Dealing with new business enquiries and renewal invitations in line with agreed underwriting guidelines
Liaising with brokers, and insurers in terms of coverage and pricing as required
When orders are received, prompt processing of orders including policy production and invoicing
Making referrals in line with agreed underwriting guidelines
Managing internal mentoring and buddying relations as agreed
Developing strong relationships with brokers and internal stakeholders
Adhere to compliance and regulatory procedures

Requirements:

Technical knowledge of commercial combined problems ideally including experience of Property, Casualty, D&O (including professional Indemnity, Crime and Cyber), Group PA/Travel
Ability to manage own and other time and workloads efficiently
Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with brokers and insurers
Ability to understand ‘best practice’ in client service, compliance systems and processes and financial management
Good understanding of all products offering cross selling opportunities
Ability to understand, develop, implement and report on agreed plans and budgets
