Job Description:

At Atlassian, we're seeking a Senior UX Research Manager to lead a team of mixed methods researchers driving insights-informed decision-making for our broader System of Work investments. This role entails collaboration with cross-functional teams to define research strategies that improve user experiences and deliver measurable business impact. Candidates must have extensive experience in research leadership, data analysis, and influencing product strategy in a technology industry setting.

Job Responsibility:

Collaborate with designers, data scientists, product managers, and engineers to create innovative solutions underpinning the System of Work
Identify, define, prioritize, and deliver critical research needs
Deliver measurable impact to the business
Partner with cross-functional teams to define the research roadmap, execute strategy, and deliver insights
Lead and inspire a high-performing team of mixed method researchers
Influence product strategy and user experience design
Connect UX insights with established brand and market research insights
Provide thought leadership in UX and related research practices.

Requirements:

8+ years of experience in Research, including leading research strategy in complex and/or enterprise-level software environments
5+ years of experience managing research teams of 4 or more
Expertise in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods to business problems, impacting both product direction and detailed experience design
Proficiency in collecting and analyzing human behavioral data to improve product plans and UX in a technology industry setting
Strong communication, storytelling and leadership skills
Proven expertise influencing business and product strategy, driving change across organizational boundaries
Deep expertise building trusted advisor relationships with senior business leaders.
