Job Description:

The Senior Vendor Contract Relationship Manager will work for the national Medicaid network vendor management program to ensure successful Vendor partnerships, manage vendor relationships, and provide oversight to ensure contract performance. The role includes conducting monthly Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings, resolving complex vendor issues, and providing management expertise in state and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibility:

Create, lead and manage vendors to the contract SLAs, performance guarantees and provide insight into complex vendor issues
Work with local Health Plans to provide oversight and ensure contract(s) meets state and company regulatory and performance expectations
Efficiently manage vendor relationships, business needs and monitor performance
Conduct and lead monthly Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings with Health Plan and Vendor representatives.

Requirements:

3-5 years of Vendor Relationship Management which includes the ability to work collaboratively to resolve issues and demonstrates a broad, strategic approach to problem solving
3+ years of Provider Contract Negotiation experience
5+ years of Healthcare Industry experience
Demonstrated knowledge of medical cost drivers and managed care industry
Conduct and Lead JOCs with Health Plan and Vendor representatives.

Nice to have:

Able to assess administrative, financial, and constituent impact of provider contracts
Understands provider contracts, contracting options, and operational issues related to provider relations.
