Job Description:

The APS6 Service Designer is responsible for co-designing and improving service experiences for diverse stakeholders, ensuring efficient and inclusive solutions aligned with user needs and organisational objectives. This role requires expertise in service design, stakeholder engagement, agile methodologies, and Human Centred Design principles.

Job Responsibility:

Co-create and document current state service experiences
design and facilitate workshops and design-thinking sessions
conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform service designs
collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
lead application of Human Centred Design principles
work in agile multi-disciplinary teams
assess impact of service changes and propose solutions
oversee end-to-end service experiences ensuring alignment with standards
contribute to post-implementation reviews
mentor junior team members

Requirements:

Expertise in service design
ability to conduct stakeholder engagement
proficiency in agile methodologies
strong problem-solving capabilities
experience working across multiple teams and disciplines
knowledge of Human Centred Design principles
ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research
stakeholder negotiation skills
ability to plan and implement service changes
experience in the disability sector or NFPs (highly desirable)
