Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee is an entry-level, short-term role that prepares an employee for supervisory positions, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities include supervising the store crew, supporting store management, and delivering excellent customer service to build loyalty. Training includes basic operations and management skills, as well as CVS/pharmacy culture and policies.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up on all activities
effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers
maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
