Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role that prepares an employee to perform a higher-level supervisory role, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves completing basic operations and management skills training, learning about key aspects of the business, and supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility:

Supervise store crew
assign, direct, and follow up on activities
communicate effectively with store management and crews
assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
High School diploma or equivalent
