Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level short-term position preparing employees for a supervisory role. Focuses on management training, customer service excellence, and store crew supervision while building loyalty to CVS/pharmacy culture.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, and thank)
handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
promote a positive shopping experience
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent
