Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is entry-level and prepares employees for higher-level supervisory roles. Responsibilities include basic operations and management training, supervising store activities, and ensuring smooth store operations. Focus is on building customer loyalty and delivering exceptional service, while promoting CVS customer service culture.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up on activities
effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews
assist customers with questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
promote a positive shopping experience
maintain customer/patient confidentiality.

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
