Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles. The trainee performs tasks directed toward future responsibilities, completes management skills training, and learns key aspects of the business and CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees may be promoted to Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles, supporting store management while building consumer loyalty through excellent service.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed
