Job Description:

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term role preparing employees for supervisory roles. Responsibilities include completing training in management skills and business culture aspects, covering customer loyalty through exceptional service. Upon successful completion of the program, trainees may be promoted to Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions to lead store operations and staff.

Job Responsibility:

Work effectively with store management and store crews
supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing and following up of all activities
effectively communicate information both to and from store management and crews
assist customers with their questions, problems and complaints
promote CVS customer service culture
handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy
maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Requirements:

Deductive reasoning ability
analytical skills
computer skills
advanced communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including early morning, overnight and weekend shifts
ability to work overtime as needed

Nice to have:

Experience in retail
high school diploma or equivalent
