Job Description:

My client is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being on-site and is ready for state-wide travel. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects, working closely with project teams and clients across Australia.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage on-site ground construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance activities
Ensure projects are delivered to specification, on time, and within budget
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols
Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel
Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Embrace and enjoy regular national travel to project sites

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Engineer in ground construction, rehabilitation, or maintenance
Solid understanding of ground engineering principles and construction practices
Ability to interpret and implement project plans and specifications
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A strong commitment to safety and quality
Relevant tertiary qualifications in civil engineering or a related field (preferred)
Valid driver's license and a genuine willingness to travel
