Job Description:

About My Client: I'm working with a fantastic division of a major national civil contractor, and they're looking for a sharp and organised Site Engineer to join their team. This isn't your typical on-site role; you'll be based in the office, playing a pivotal part in the smooth running of their road network management projects. My client specialises in maximising road and intelligent transport systems (ITS) assets for their clients. They’re all about delivering top-notch, tailored solutions, from long-term strategy to day-to-day maintenance. You’ll be supporting the Operations/Project Managers, ensuring everything runs like clockwork – on budget, on time, and to the highest standards.

Job Responsibility:

Portfolio & Performance: You'll be a key player in optimising project performance, handling budgets, and ensuring quality. Think business strategy and reporting
People Empowerment: You'll help keep the team running smoothly, supporting divisional goals, and promoting a positive work environment
Zero Harm Focus: Safety is paramount. You'll ensure all processes meet Zero Harm standards, keeping everyone safe and sound
Client Champion: You'll help build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded

Requirements:

Solid experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry
A strong grasp of contract management and project delivery
Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced office setting
Relevant qualifications are a definite plus

Nice to have:

preferably roads experience
