Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our team on a challenging and rewarding Waitrose supermarket fit-out project near Brighton. This project requires a strong understanding of construction processes, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to plans, schedules, and budgets
Manage a team of skilled tradespeople and subcontractors, ensuring smooth collaboration and efficient execution
Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and ensuring a secure site for all
Collaborate with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
Proactively identify and resolve potential issues, ensuring timely completion of the project and minimizing disruptions

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on retail fit-out projects, ideally with experience in supermarket environments
Strong understanding of construction processes and building regulations, with a focus on retail-specific requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and stakeholders
Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
A commitment to safety and quality, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a focus on delivering a safe and efficient work environment
