Job Description:

Randstad is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team working in Norfolk on the A47 infrastructure project. This challenging and rewarding opportunity involves contributing to a major infrastructure upgrade to improve traffic flow and safety in the region.

Job Responsibility:

Supervising and coordinating a team of skilled laborers on site, ensuring efficient and safe execution of works
Implementing and upholding quality control measures, ensuring all work meets project specifications and safety standards
Effectively communicating with the project team, subcontractors, and stakeholders, fostering a positive and collaborative environment
Identifying potential issues, implementing solutions, and ensuring project milestones are met on schedule
Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Supervisor in highways projects, with a strong focus on civil engineering, drainage, utilities, paving, and curbing works
A solid understanding of relevant design and construction standards for highways and associated disciplines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and manage a team effectively
A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and addressing challenges on site
A valid CSCS card is essential
