Job Description:

We are seeking a Site Support Technician II to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional looking to provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure a seamless user experience in a dynamic work environment. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers and related systems while working closely with employees to resolve technical challenges and deliver tailored solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Provide technical support for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems, software, and hardware
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop systems, workstations, servers, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment
Maintain security for the desktop environment, including passwords, data integrity, and file system security
Communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical personnel
Assist in identifying suitable software that meets user requirements and recommend hardware/software solutions, including new acquisitions or upgrades
Participate in IT infrastructure and technology project development
Conduct training programs to educate employees on basic and specialized applications

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 4 years of related experience in IT support, desktop systems, or networking
General knowledge and experience in troubleshooting technical issues with minimal supervision
Strong ability to follow instructions, apply common sense, and handle common and unique job requests
Committed to travel schedule for project duration

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience in a heterogeneous IT environment
Familiarity with password and data security management
Excellent communication skills to explain technical information to diverse audiences
Operate with minimal instruction for regular tasks and general guidance on new assignments
