Job Description:

We’re assisting a well-established insurance firm in recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable Account Handler. In this role you will be responsible for providing insurance solutions to our clients in a timely and effective manner, focusing on servicing SME Commercial clients.

Job Responsibility:

Client Relationship Management: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, foster strong client relationships, and assist with the preparation and renewal of insurance policies
Policy Administration: Accurately process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, and review policy documentation
Insurer Negotiations: Collaborate with insurers to obtain favourable terms, and negotiate premiums and coverage details
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to FCA regulations and stay up-to-date with market and regulatory changes
Collaboration and Team Support: Partner with Account Executives and team members to provide seamless client support and share expertise within the team

Requirements:

Experience in a similar account handling role within the insurance sector or specialism
Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
Proficiency in using insurance platforms and client management systems
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client satisfaction
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and professionalism
Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to anticipate client needs
