Job Description:

Implementing a new order management system to manage data flow in and out of their data repository system. The new system will go live, and all data will flow into Snowflake. The role involves building the infrastructure, storing data in Snowflake, and creating data mappings for the new structure.

Job Responsibility:

Heavy focus on Snowflake and PySpark transformations, data storage, and structuring
Participate in architectural conversations and design for Snowflake
Testing, scrubbing, and cleaning data

Requirements:

10+ years of experience as a data engineer
Recent experience in Snowflake
Expertise in Snowflake, Python, and PySpark
Familiarity with Airflow and GitHub
Experience with version control, Medallion Architecture, and ETL pipelines
Experience building DAGs
Preferred experience with Databricks
Strong data architecture knowledge

Nice to have:

Preferred experience with Databricks
Understanding jobs and converting them to Snowflake
