Job Description:

Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Stockport Council's Adult REaCH Reablement Service. This is a full time role offering hybrid work, competitive pay, and plenty of benefits. The role requires monitoring service users' progress, case load management, completing assessments, safeguarding, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.

Job Responsibility:

To work within a reablement team/ service to monitor service users progress and assess any ongoing needs
To hold a case load, cases will be held short term
To monitor, prioritise and review your case load
To adhere to council policies
To complete assessments under the Care Act 2014
To complete formal mental capacity assessments when required
Respond to statutory and non-statutory safeguarding concerns
To give information and advice and signpost to other agencies/ services
To work within a small social work team and support other colleagues
To attend team meetings and any appropriate training
To network with other professionals and multi-agency working
To be confident in working with people living with risk and be flexible, resilient and creative
Work with people in a person-centred way to maximise their strengths and assets
Contribute Social Work expertise to the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team/ REaCH service to support SW apprentices, support with shadowing on visits

Requirements:

Social Work Degree or equivalent
Social Work England registered
Enhanced DBS

Knowledge of Adult Law
