Job Description:

An exciting permanent social work opportunity with a local authority in North Yorkshire to support children and young people at risk of exploitation. Responsibilities include utilizing a whole family approach, creative assessment and planning, and helping young people overcome trauma, gangs, and crime. This role is part of the Aspire Team within Children's Services.

Job Responsibility:

Support children and young people who are at risk of exploitation and where they and their families need additional help
Use the whole family approach to support families to maintain young people living at home, whilst supporting the young people to overcome
Creative assessment and planning with young people and families, able to understand the complexities and risks faced by them, and who really wants to make a long-term impact on young people's lives, trauma and break away from gangs and crime and fulfil their potential

Requirements:

BSc in Social Work or equivalent
Social Work England registration
At least 1 year of experience within a similar children's social work setting
