Job Description:

This role involves working in a busy Adult MASH team in Oldham, Greater Manchester, within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting individuals while ensuring accurate records and documentation.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct comprehensive assessments of vulnerable adults referred to the MASH, gathering relevant information and identifying potential risks and safeguarding concerns
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including health care professionals
Provide direct support to individuals, offering advice, guidance, and advocacy to promote their rights, independence, and overall well-being
Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping, maintaining case files and documentation in line with agency and legal requirements

Requirements:

1-3 years experience of working within a similar setting would be desirable but not essential, would consider experience in other adult teams
Registration with Social Work England
BSc in Social Work or equivalent
Knowledge of Safeguarding
Experience of multi agency working, information gathering/sharing

Nice to have:

Adult MASH experience
