Job Description:

Robert Half is hiring for a Software Administrator in Easton, Pa. Hybrid onsite 3 days a week. The role involves creating automated application installation packages, documenting packaging processes, performing global administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune or similar technologies, installing service packs, hot-fixes, and application updates, administering Citrix images, leading tech for configuring, testing, maintaining, and monitoring all end users computer programs and systems, organizing and coordinating the activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade or repairs to software, hardware and network facilities as it relates to the desktop environment, evaluating, maintaining, modifying and documenting desktop application packages, participating in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implementing prototypes, leading in application publishing and delivery, creating and maintaining the infrastructure for application delivery, and reporting success of application or patch deployments to verify the needed results are met.

Requirements:

Create automated application installation packages
Document packaging process in standard documentation forms and database
Perform Global Administration of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune or similar technologies
Install service packs, hot-fixes, and application updates
Administrator of Citrix images
Lead tech for configure, test, maintain, and monitor all end users computer programs and systems
Organize and coordinate the activities associated with installation, deployment and upgrade or repairs to software, hardware and network facilities as it relates to the desktop environment
Evaluate, maintain, modify and document desktop application packages, participates in the testing and evaluation of new desktop packages and implements prototypes
Will lead in application publishing and delivery
Will lead in creating and maintaining the infrastructure for application delivery
Will lead in reporting success of application or patch deployments to verify the needed results are met
Strong Knowledge of Packaging and Task Sequencing for OS deployment
Strong Knowledge of Windows Update Services or patch management technologies
