Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and talented Software Developer II to join our team in a contract-to-permanent role. This position involves designing, implementing, testing, and refining software solutions, primarily focusing on backend development. You will work collaboratively within a supportive environment to design scalable systems and provide innovative solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Design and implement backend services and web applications using Python and/or Node.js
Develop scalable APIs to efficiently handle advertisement requests
Store, retrieve, and process data efficiently with database integrations
Deploy and manage applications in AWS cloud environments, leveraging CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization for software components
Maintain documentation for all development activities and processes
Adhere to project timelines and apply project management principles as needed
Evaluate software integration requirements and determine optimal solutions

Requirements:

1–3 years of professional backend development experience preferred
Exceptional recent graduates with strong computer science fundamentals may also be considered
Proficiency in Python and/or Node.js
Experience with other programming languages and foundational computer science principles will be considered
Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design
Familiarity with AWS cloud services and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and performance optimization techniques
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Proven ability to work independently and make effective decisions
