Job Description:

Verify and test HPE’s cloud and virtualization products, create automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates will have strong software testing, cloud, and automation expertise.

Job Responsibility:

Verify HPE’s cloud and virtualization product software at the functional level
Set up test configuration and validate functionalities of the on-premises server, storage and networking hardware
Create, execute, and automate API, UI, load, scale and reliability test cases, and report the test results
Work closely with development team and collaborate with other cross-functional teams including but not limited to Product Management, Customer Support and Platform Engineering

Requirements:

Knowledge of complete SDLC and experience in software testing methodology, tools, test planning and test execution
Strong coding skills
Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for performing root cause analysis
Ability to effectively work with stakeholders in multiple engineering teams for defect investigation, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective/preventative actions
Knowledge of tools and processes for functional testing of REST API and gRPC calls
Ability to write clear test specifications
Experience working in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
Self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have:

Proficiency in programming in Python (Pytest, Playwright), Go, Java
Experience in REST APIs, gRPC, Web Applications
Experience in Virtual Machine, datacenter environments
Experience in Docker, Containerization, Microservices, Kubernetes
Experience in CI/CD, Git, GitHub, Jenkins
Experience in AWS, GCP, Azure
Experience in Linux/Unix environments
Experience in SQL/NoSQL DBs
