Job Description:

My Client is a fast-growing startup, who offer a dynamic and supportive environment where you can make a real impact alongside a team of innovators. They are seeking a Software Engineer to join their experienced team and play a key role in developing our transformative laser communications technology.

Job Responsibility:

Develop cloud connectivity for optical ground stations
Build dashboards and user interfaces for remote station operation
Design and deploy APIs and algorithms for external system interactions
Define and implement cloud architectures and services for next-generation communication products

Requirements:

Experience in IoT system integration, protocols, and services (gRPC, MQTT)
Cloud architecture expertise, including dashboards, databases, APIs, and security/authentication for IoT systems
Linux development with Python
5+ years of commercial experience

Nice to have:

Experience with service deployment (IaC, containers, Docker)
Knowledge of WAN networking and performance optimization
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, scripting, and automation
Interest or experience in the space industry
System modeling expertise (Matlab, Simulink)
AI/ML applications, particularly for optimization
