Job Description:

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The primary function of this role involves working with various programming languages, cloud platforms, and microservices architecture. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, demanding a high level of organization and detail orientation.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and optimize software applications using languages such as Python, Java, C#, and JavaScript
Use frameworks including React, Angular, or .NET in the development process
Implement and manage cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for efficient application performance
Develop and maintain APIs, contributing to the microservices architecture
Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution
Utilize skills in Apache Struts, C++, and Hibernate ORM for various development tasks
Perform AB testing and work with Ajax for enhancing user experience
Develop and manage databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
Work with ASP.NET and CSS for web development tasks

Requirements:

Proven experience with Apache Struts
Proficiency in C++ programming language
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with databases
Familiarity with EO/IR systems
Demonstrated knowledge of Hibernate ORM
Experience in AB Testing
Proficient in Ajax
Solid experience in API Development
Knowledge and experience with ASP.NET
Strong skills in CSS
