Job Description:

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and proposing technical solutions that meet the customers' needs. The role involves supporting account managers and customers, building and delivering solutions, and fostering relationships with customers and partners.

Job Responsibility:

Design and propose technical solutions that meet the customers' needs
Support account managers and customers by providing technical expertise
Build solutions that meet and/or exceed requirements
Deliver and present solutions to customers
Work with implementation and PMO teams to ensure smooth project transition
Develop and foster relationships with customers and strategic partners
Develop Statements of Work and professional services quotes
Support other Solution Architects and Systems Engineers
Promote a team environment with a positive attitude

Requirements:

Cisco Certification (CCNP or CCIE preferred)
Five (5) years of implementation and design experience
Pre-sales engineering experience with a value-added reseller (VAR) strongly preferred
Experience in other technologies (security, wireless, data networking, VMware, data center storage, cloud) is a huge plus
Strong documentation skills, including diagramming network topologies using Microsoft Visio, LucidChart, or similar tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation skills and technical sales skills
Strong personality and presence with the ability to own and drive the conversation with the customers
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance

Nice to have:

Experience in other technologies (security, wireless, data networking, VMware, data center storage, cloud)
Strong documentation skills
Excellent presentation skills and technical sales skills
