Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and develop comprehensive end-to-end infrastructure solutions. This role involves leadership, prioritisation, and developing infrastructure-related solutions, requiring close collaboration with IT Services, business stakeholders, and senior leadership. The architect will work across networks, servers, storage, backup, data-centres, and disaster recovery.

Job Responsibility:

Design enterprise-wide IT infrastructure solutions aligned with business goals
Assess infrastructure needs and design scalable, efficient, and cost-effective solutions
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools
Develop conceptual, solution, and detailed designs
Review and provide feedback on designs
Participate in Architecture Forums (e.g., Architecture Working Group)
Assist in developing project planning documents
Provide architectural guidance to stakeholders

Requirements:

10+ years of experience with Infrastructure solutions
Experience designing, implementing, and managing large-scale IT infrastructure
Experience with enterprise-level systems (data centres, vitalisation, storage, networking)
Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security
Experience with server vitalisation (VMware preferred) and containerisation
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management
Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery planning
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Relevant Infrastructure certifications
