Job Description:

Atlassian is looking for a manager to lead the Solutions Engineering team within the Enterprise segment for the DACH region. This leader will shape a rapidly growing team and critical function within the Atlassian sales team. The role involves building credibility and trust with the technical leaders of our customers and prospects, developing cross-functional strategies and solutions, and leading a team of skilled solutions engineers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of sales engineers
  • Develop and implement training programs
  • Build & Optimize processes that support rapid growth
  • Provide thought leadership
  • Buildout scalable functions
  • Establish performance metrics
  • Collaborate with senior leadership
  • Operationalize Metrics that Matter
  • Identify and prioritize key market opportunities
  • Ensure proper alignment of resources
  • Align sales engineering activities with company goals
  • Engage in high-impact sales pursuits
  • Provide technical leadership during sales presentations
  • Engage with marketing for pipeline generation
  • Ensure seamless integration and deployment of solutions
  • Demonstrate strong executive alignment
  • Work closely with product management, marketing, and R&D teams
  • Serve as a liaison between sales engineering and other departments
  • Maintain a feedback loop with product teams
  • Drive creation of technical collateral
  • Stay abreast of industry trends
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and partners

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience leading a SaaS sales engineering team
  • Fluent in German
  • Well versed in interacting with enterprise customers in a pre-sales capacity
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills to multi-level audiences
  • Agility to grow the team
  • Creative problem solver
  • Interpret complex business problems into solutions
  • Collaborate with prospects, partners, and the Atlassian sales team
