Job Description:

On behalf of our client, a prestigious hotel in Heraklion, Crete, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Sommelier to join their team.

Job Responsibility:

Provide professional advice to guests on wine selection that pairs perfectly with their meals
Manage the hotel's wine cellar, including ordering and storing wines
Organize and conduct wine tastings for guests
Collaborate with the chef and kitchen team to create food and wine pairing recommendations
Train staff on wine knowledge and serving techniques
Maintain high service standards and ensure guest satisfaction

Requirements:

Sommelier certification (WSET, CMS, or equivalent)
Ability to organize and manage inventory
Previous experience as a Sommelier in a luxury hotel or restaurant
Excellent knowledge of Greek and international wines
Strong communication and customer service skills
