Job Description:

W Amsterdam is casting a Public Area Stylist to join the Style Team, responsible for maintaining the hotel's design and ensuring guest satisfaction. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, following service standards, and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Job Responsibility:

Being in the know: you are the expert when it comes to our Spa public areas and hotel facilities
Ensure you are following service standards and operating procedures from the beginning to the end of each process
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets
Showing guests our Whatever/Whenever service while they are with us, and connect with them to be able to personalize that service, creating memorable experiences
You will be on rotating shifts
Weekends are busiest, as well as evening/nights, so expect to be on shift then
You will be working in a fast paced environment, under pressure
Communicating with your team and other departments is key
Ensuring that all Spa public areas are sparkling
Responding to personal guests request, even if the guests didn’t know they needed something
Reporting any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile, make eye contact, and use the guest's name when possible
Respond promptly to requests from Style supervisor/coordinator
Ensure correct usage of machinery and cleaning supplies
Make sure you put the guests at the center of everything we do

Requirements:

Minimum of one-year experience in the same or similar role
Fluency in English
Dutch and any other language is appreciated
Experience in the Luxury Segment is an advantage
Work Permit for The Netherlands is required
