Job Description:

The Spa Retail Clerk is responsible for greeting customers, assisting with merchandise, processing purchases, and maintaining the shop's appearance. The role involves ensuring customer satisfaction, following company policies, and performing various physical tasks.

Job Responsibility:

Greet customers
Offer assistance in locating merchandise
Respond to questions regarding merchandise
Display merchandise neatly
Restock items
Check expiration dates
Discard expired items
Keep storeroom clean
Complete customer purchases
Process all payment types
Process returns, refunds, and exchanges
Verify customer identification
Maintain cash levels in cash drawer
Turn in property monies and receipts
Ensure deposits/cash drops are verified
Follow opening and closing shop checklist
Secure shop
Monitor customer activity to prevent theft and damage
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Follow company policies and procedures
Maintain uniform and personal appearance
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge guests
Anticipate and address guests’ service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships
Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
Perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
Move, lift, or carry objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
