Job Description:

Randstad is seeking a passionate and skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join a supportive team at a leading Special Educational Needs school in Wetherby. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse student population, making a tangible difference in their lives.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct thorough assessments of pupils' speech, language, and swallowing abilities
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, tailored to each student's unique needs
Deliver effective therapy using evidence-based practices, incorporating diverse modalities
Collaborate seamlessly with families, caregivers, and other professionals for a holistic approach
Advocate for students' rights and ensure access to appropriate services
Maintain accurate and detailed client records
Support and supervise students with complex needs, addressing swallowing and choking risks
Actively participate in team meetings and regular supervision
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology
Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment that values diversity

Requirements:

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Proven experience working with children with special educational needs
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based assessment and intervention
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities
Commitment to ethical and client-centered practice
Ability to manage a caseload effectively and independently
