Job Description:

Robert Half is looking for a SQL DBA to work for their client in Los Angeles that is in the non-profit industry. The role involves maintaining and optimizing databases, managing backup processes, ensuring availability, and participating in the migration process to SQL 2019. Tasks involve the use of technologies such as Linux, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, MySQL, backup technologies, and cluster analysis.

Job Responsibility:

Administration and management of databases, including optimization and AB testing
Execution of stored procedures to ensure efficient data management
Deployment of Linux Technologies and Microsoft Azure for various database tasks
Maintenance and management of Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
Backup management, ensuring data safety and availability
Utilization of backup technologies for data recovery and restoration
Conducting cluster analysis to ensure optimal database performance
Configuration management to maintain system stability and performance
Reporting and toning the database for optimal performance
Participating in the migration process to SQL 2019

Requirements:

Experience in SQL
Experience in Database Administration
Experience with migration processes
Experience with reporting
Experience as a SQL DBA
Knowledge of Linux technologies
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure
Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server
Proficiency in MySQL
Skills in backup management and disaster recovery
Skills in cluster analysis
Familiarity with configuration management
Ability to manage the migration process to SQL 2019
